The First Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

The first annual pumpkin carving contest began October 15th. The entry fee was $20 and any club/organization/team/class could enter. There was entries from the cheerleaders to Ms. Baker’s 3rd block. The students during this contest were able to create a pumpkin of their choice and enter it into the contest. The winner of the contest was determined by which pumpkin could raise the most money. All of the proceeds went towards funding a charity called UNICEF. This charity helps to save children’s lives and to protect children’s rights all over the world. There were many entries but only one could win. The winner for the first annual pumpkin carving contest was the football special team.
