RCHS Mask Mandate

Ariel Winters, Author

Rushville Consolidated High School returned to the mask mandate on September 9th. Due to the rising cases of COVID-19, the Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb determined that face coverings were needed for operations to continue for Indiana Public Schools. This mandate has been required at RCHS until September 30th.

The governor hopes that the requirement of face masks will help slow down the number of positive cases throughout schools since masks seem to work well in slowing the spread in schools. Overall, our RCHS students appear to be cooperating with the mandate, and their compliance is appreciated. Below are RCHS  football players Matthew Komlanc and Austin Kidd wearing their masks and doing their part to protect fellow students and faculty.
