Second Semester Information

The Rush County Schools School Board held a meeting on December 28th to discuss what plans would look like to start out. They determined that RCS would be restarting on January 11th, not on January 5th. Here is a summary of what this looks like.
District Wide Information
- ALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND BENJAMIN RUSH MIDDLE SCHOOL will be conducting in-person learning.
- RUSHVILLE CONSOLIDATED HIGH SCHOOL will be conducting in-person learning using a HYBRID schedule. Information about this schedule is below. They will be using the hybrid schedule from January 11th to January 22nd.
- Report Cards will be distributed on January 13th.
- February 15th, April 2nd, May 25th and 26th will be MAKE-UP DAYS due to delaying the start of school.
- Students can recieve meal packs on January 6th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at BRMS, Arlington, and Milroy.
RCHS Information
All RCHS Students will begin on a HYBRID schedule. WCC STUDENTS WILL NOT REPORT TO WCC UNTIL JANUARY 11TH. We will begin week 1 of Hybrid using a White Day Hybrid Schedule (All classes 1-7 will meet using a different White Day Schedule, NOT the regular White Day Schedule) **IMPORTANT NOTE: RCHS students with mixed alphabet family names will attend together on L-Z days **
Week 1 (January 11-15)
REMEMBER: Every day this week will be a WHITE day, and the Red/Black rotation will start next week.
Students with the last names beginning with A-K will attend in-person school on January 11th, 13th, and 15th for week 1. They will then go eLearning on January 12th and 14th.
Students with the last names beginning with L-Z will attend in-person school on January 12th and 14th for week 1. They will then conduct eLearning on January 11th, 13th, and 15th.
Week 2 (January 18-22)
This week’s schedule has changed. Please look for an update on the Rushlite Website or on Social Media.
