The Academic Team competed on Monday.  See a write up of results below from Mrs. Brashaber

“The RCHS Academic Super Bowl teams opened their season Monday night at the Batesville Invitational and brought home 3 first place finishes and 1 third place on the night.  Leading the way were the Math team, Guy Herrington, Shep Cupp, Braiden Hunter, Lowell Joya, and Graycen Martin answering 17 of 25 questions correctly to take first place in their division and first place overall.  Not to be outdone, the English team of Sophie Wesling, Anthony Spaeth, Anna-Grace Tracy, and Tyler Dillman answered 20 of 25 questions correctly to also claim first place honors in their division and first place overall.  The Science team consisting of Cami Jones, Shep Cupp, Bella Storey, Braiden Hunter, and Lowell Joya battled to finish in 3rd place in their division.  To wrap up this successful meet the Interdisciplinary team of Dillman, Herrington, Jones, Tracy, Diamond Simmons, Wesling, and Joya came from behind to take 1st place in division 2 and 2nd place overall.  Congratulations to all participants.  The next competition will be at Jac-Cen-Del on March 30.” (Mrs. Brashaber)
